There are a number of great reasons to join the M&SCA. In addition to the legislative advocacy and labor relations, the M&SCA offers a full calendar of educational programs, access to national associations, and many other tools to help your company thrive and your employees grow.

Access to National Associations: MCAA and MSCA AND PCA

The Mechanical Contractors Association of America, Inc. (MCAA) and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) and Plumbing Contractors of America Association (PCA) are three national associations made up of approximately 2,600 mechanical, plumbing, and service contractors from all over the country. Members enjoy outstanding education programs, an expanding catalog of resources to help them manage and grow their businesses, periodicals and a website to keep them informed and connected, and business services to save them money. M&SCA Tuition Reimbursement Program

The M&SCA supports personal educational development by providing a tuition reimbursement program to the employees of contractor member companies. This program is available to office and field staff and will provide up to $2000 in reimbursement for a degree, non-degree, and certificate program tuition costs. Students who choose the Drexel University Construction Management Certificate Program are eligible to receive up to 50% of total tuition costs. PENNSYLVANIA 811: Formerly PA ONE CALL

Pennsylvania 811 System is a non-profit Pennsylvania corporation created to protect the underground facilities before anyone begins to disturb the earth. Pennsylvania 811 receives requests from excavators, contractors, plumbers, builders, designers, and the general public to find out where underground lines are located. All M&SCA member contractors are eligible to receive a reimbursement for the annual fee to be a member of Pennsylvania 811. Available to M&SCA members, the M&SCA Training Vault website allows the M&SCA staff, M&SCA Members, and U.A. Locals 420 and 690 the unique ability to share worker training records via a central database. The database is accessible 24/7 from anywhere an internet connection is available. Safety training is a vital component of our industry and having these records available at your fingertips is a valuable resource. For MCAA/MSCA National members, all of the safety videos and associated tests and record keeping are also available in the Training Vault.
