Roy Cohen

Roy founded Cohen Seglias in 1988 and has overseen its growth from a three-attorney construction firm to a firm with more than 80 attorneys offering a wide range of legal services. Serving as the firm’s President and chair of the Construction Group, he has a nationwide construction practice and counsels more than 300 clients in the industry, including construction managers, general contractors, municipal authorities, private developers, major trade contractors, architects, engineers, and sureties. Roy has developed a particularly strong presence in the electrical construction community and represents over 200 electrical contractors. His practice also includes the representation of developers and other parties in litigation involving land development projects.

Daniel Fierstein

Dan is a construction lawyer to his core, representing industry members throughout the country, including owners/developers, general contractors/construction managers, trade subcontractors, and everyone in between. Dan helps his construction clients navigate their day-to-day issues. He does so with sensitivity to cost, resources, and the reality that suing a long-time customer is a last resort; not a first one. Matt Gioffre

Matt advises clients on legal matters and litigates complex construction law claims on behalf of general contractors, subcontractors, design-builders, and material suppliers. Matt has broad experience litigating claims involving construction and design defects, product defects, delays, unforeseen conditions, and out-of-scope work claims on public, private, and federal projects.

Representing both contractors and project owners, Matt continues to grow his practice by pursuing and defending lien claims, bond claims, and Miller Act claims. He represents clients in many forums, including mediations, arbitrations, and trial court for pre-trial motions and jury trials. Matt practices in several jurisdictions, including state and federal courts in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties.
